We are very fortunate to be able to raise most of the crops required to feed our dairy cattle.
In our current farming operation, we farm roughly 800 acres of ground to produce nutritious feed for the cows. Of the total acreage, roughly 400 acres is planted in corn for silage, 250 acres is planted in alfalfa hay, 60 acres is planted in wheat, and 40 acres is planted in soybeans. All of the feed produced is used exclusively on our farms to feed our cows.
In addition to the crops we raise, we also partner with a select few local farms who produce the additional crops and feed products necessary to feed our herd.
